10 Teknologi Terbaik Minggu Ini 12 Dis 2016

1. Flyboard

Want a jetpack? Never mind that -- this water-powered pair of rocket boots lets you perform tricks and fly around either underwater or over the surface. Remember Astro Boy? You get the idea. Get out your $6,600 and get ready to strap on these hovering rocket feet, sucking up gallons of water and blasting you from here to kingdom come. Is there a learning curve to flying this thing? It can't be easy. We're thinking that guy should be wearing a helmet. [via DVICE]

2. Electric Ferrari

When it comes to futuristic cars, this one is about as farfetched as you can get: The Ferrari Millenio, a two-seater built with an exotic material called Buckypaper which is lighter than carbon fiber while stronger than steel. Under the hood are dual electric motors, charged up with a solar array, or when it's nighttime or cloudy, there's no need to plug it in -- it wirelessly charges via inductive power, embedded in your garage floor. When can we drive one? It's a design concept so far, but were hoping it's not going to take 1,000 years to hit the streets, as its "Millenio" name suggests. [via Yanko Design]

3. Electronic Drum Machine T-Shirt

We've seen T-shirts from Think Geek in the past with built-in drums and guitars that you can actually play, but this one takes that a step further. On board is a working drum machine and looper that gives you nine different drum kit sounds with seven different drums in each one. Smack yourself around and you can create loops that are up to 3 minutes long. Powered by four AA batteries, it's machine washable and cost $29.99.

4. Aldebaran Robotics Nao Robot

Perhaps we're looking at the ancestor of our robotic overlords -- the Aldebaran Robotics Nao robot has already gone through a bit of an evolution and it's not stopping here. Now it has Nuance speech recognition on board (the same tech that powers Siri voice recognition), can walk more gracefully and doesn't run into everything in its way. What will it learn how to do next? Be afraid. Be very afraid. Even though it's only available to developers and researchers so far, the company says it will soon be offered to the general public, allowing you to buy one yourself and teach it how to defend you against its possibly (eventually?) malevolent brethren.

5. SatPlus Satellite Dish Chair

Living in an apartment or housing development where they don't allow satellite dishes? Or maybe you're a spy and don't want the government authorities to know you're communicating with the home office via satellite. Now you can trick that landlord (or your spying enemies) with a satellite dish that looks a whole lot like a lawn chair. Clever idea for $286. [via Geeky Gadgets]

6. Optimus Popularis Keyboard

Leave it to Russian designer Art Lebedev to create a keyboard that looks like it belongs in a science fiction movie. His Optimus Popularis keyboard can display any layout, language or symbol on any key, or you can use it as a specialty keyboard for applications such as Photoshop or video editing software. At the top of the keyboard are slightly larger screens where you can display other crucial data. Yours for $1,086.

7. Macro Cell Lens Band

Here's a low-tech way to snap some pics with your smartphone that look like you used the highest technology anywhere. What amounts to a macro lens strapped onto a rubber band, the Macro Cell Lens Band from Photojojo can be used with any smartphone camera, where all you need to do is strap it on and get ultra-close-up shots of anything you desire. Want a portrait of an ant's face? You got it. It's micro-priced at $15.

8. Element Case Vapor Comp Epiphany

Here's a gorgeous new iPhone accessory from Element Case called the Vapor Comp Epiphany, made of finely polished powder-coated aluminum and clear polycarbonate. Available in either white or powder blue, it encases and protects both the iPhone 4 and 4S, no matter which cellular provider you're using. We tried it out with a couple of white iPhone 4S models, and with the ultra suede backing on one and a white pearl backing on another, both looked beautiful. While it is a bit of a pain to install the case with its tiny screws, the screws themselves look cool, too, and aren't a big deal if you don't change your case often. Available just in time for Christmas, it's a classy case for $129.99.

9. Razer Blade Gaming Laptop

The Razer Blade gaming laptop that so impressed us at last year's Consumer Electronics Show is about to find its way into the real world. The swanky notebook has even better specs than we saw before, now with a 17-inch screen, an even-thinner .7 inch profile, 256GB solid-state drive and a uniquely configurable touchpad. It will retail for around $2,800, and preorders are expected to begin in just a few days. [via Kotaku]

10. iNuke Boom Speaker

We're not quite sure if this is a joke or if it's tradeshow one-upsmanship, but look at this pic of Barringer's Eurosound iNuke Boom Speaker: See that tiny device on the top I've circled in red? That's an iPhone. That'll give you an idea of the size of this enormous speaker, which is 8 feet wide by 4 feet tall, weighs 700 pounds and cranks out 10,000 Watts of devastating power. Billed as "the loudest iPad, iPod and iPhone dock you've ever heard," with those kind of specs, it might be able to shatter the windows of a skyscraper a mile away. If this is for real, we'll take two. Oh, wait -- they cost $29,999 each.
